What is Better: Clinching Premier League at WHL vs. Winning the CL?

I have to apologize, as all my time spent launching the new book has distracted me from really important things, such as blogging on soccer.

Above is an interview with Thierry Henry, best footballer ever and seemingly a very decent guy. In the interview he is asked which he enjoyed better, clinching the Premier League title at White Hart Lane with Arsenal or winning the Champions League with Barcelona. See the joy in his answer and you'll get a hint at why football is a sport of the heart.

"Decent guys" don't cheat in the way he did against Ireland in the World Cup playoff and then run around the pitch celebrating the results of their cheating.

You must be joking. Have you heard of Pelé?

From http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pel%C3%A9

"He is widely regarded by polls among football experts, former players and fans as the greatest footballer of all time."

Try telling that to the Irish!

Roger.

I was surprised he felt that level of affinity with Arsenal. What amazes me though, is how sophisticated and intelligent these guys are nowadays. It wasn't always so. Not owning up to cheating has always been the case in football. You have your colleagues and fans to think of too.

P.S.

You are younger than me. All the players I like are better than the players you like :-)

Best ever British based players (can't judge others by a few games as we had to in the past before universal television).

Gascoigne, Dalgleish, Best, Marsh, J.Johnstone, Cantona, Robson, Law , Keegan, Baxter, C. Ronaldo, Charlton, Hoddle, Le Tissier.

Rep, Platini, Cruyff, Gullet, Maradonna, Muller, Eusebio for the foreigners.
